Done-for-you knowledge systems — for founders, consultants & teams

Your AI is brilliant.
It just doesn't know you.

Every AI tool you use starts from zero — no memory of your decisions, your clients, your hard-won lessons. VaultOS turns everything you know into a synced, encrypted, agent-ready knowledge graph that your AI reads, answers from, and writes back to. We audit, build, and hand over the working system — you don't assemble anything.

The problem

Knowledge amnesia is costing you every single day

The models are extraordinary. The context is missing. Sound familiar?

"I asked ChatGPT the same question I asked it three months ago."

Every session starts from zero. Your research, your decisions, your context — gone the moment the chat ends.

"When she left, fifteen years of process knowledge walked out with her."

Your business runs on knowledge that lives in two people's heads. Onboarding takes months because nothing is written down where anyone can find it.

"We're paying for Copilot, Gemini and Claude — and none of them know our business."

Your agents can't see your data schemas, your runbooks, your naming conventions. Every AI project re-solves the same context problem from scratch.

How it works

Three layers. One system that compounds.

Built on open formats and boring, proven infrastructure — no proprietary platform, no new app your team has to learn to love.

01

The Vault your knowledge, structured

We audit where your knowledge actually lives — Notion, drives, email, people's heads — and build it into a linked graph of plain markdown files. Human-readable in any editor. Owned by you, forever.

02

The Sync every device, encrypted

Self-hosted, end-to-end encrypted sync to your Mac, phone, and team. The server only ever sees ciphertext. Capture a thought on your phone; it's in the graph everywhere in seconds.

03

The Intelligence an AI that actually knows you

An AI agent wired to your graph. Ask "what did we decide about pricing in March?" and it answers from your history — with sources. It writes new notes back, keeps cross-references fresh, and gets more useful every week.

Open standard

Built on the format Google just standardized

In 2026, Google published the Open Knowledge Format (OKF) — an open, vendor-neutral standard for the knowledge AI agents need. We were already building it.

"If you've used Obsidian, Notion, Hugo, or any of the LLM wiki patterns that have emerged over the past year, the shape will feel familiar. OKF formalizes the small set of conventions needed to make these patterns interoperable."

— Google Cloud, introducing OKF v0.1

Just files

Markdown + YAML in a git repo. No SDK, no proprietary account, no translation layer. Readable by humans and every AI model.

Google Cloud native

BigQuery Knowledge Catalog ingests OKF bundles directly and serves them as context to Vertex AI and Gemini agents. Claude and other models read the same files.

Zero lock-in

Fire your tools — or fire us — and you keep everything. The format is the contract; every tool on each end is swappable.

Could you build this yourself? Absolutely — the format is open, and that's the point. What we deliver is the working system: the audit, the import, encrypted sync on every device, the agent, and a clean handover — live in days, not weekends.

Pricing

From one brain to your whole organization

Every tier is done-for-you: we build it, load it, connect your devices, and hand you a working system — not a template and a wish. Prices in USD.

Common questions

Frequently asked

What is the OKF standard?

Open Knowledge Format is an open, vendor-neutral standard published by Google in 2026. It formalises plain markdown + YAML front-matter in a git repository as the canonical shape for knowledge AI agents can read. No SDK, no proprietary account — any LLM reads the files directly.

Do I need Obsidian?

No. Obsidian is the default editor we configure because its graph view makes navigation intuitive, but your vault is plain markdown files. Any editor that opens text files — VS Code, iA Writer, Typora — works out of the box.

Who stores my data?

You do. Your vault lives on a server you control (a self-hosted CouchDB instance). Emerge has access only during the initial build and when you explicitly request an agent session. The server only ever holds ciphertext — we cannot read your notes.

How long does setup take?

Vault Studio (personal) is live within 3–5 working days of the audit call. VaultOS Team typically takes 1–2 weeks including the knowledge workshop. Enterprise OKF projects are scoped in a discovery engagement — timelines depend on the size of the knowledge base.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The monthly sync and agent subscriptions are cancel-anytime. When you cancel, your vault files stay with you — they're on your server. Nothing is locked inside any Emerge system.

What if I want to switch tools or move away from VaultOS?

Your entire vault exports with a single git clone. The OKF format is readable by any LLM or markdown tool directly — you are not dependent on Emerge or any other vendor to use your own knowledge.
